this is a 3d movie that is shot like an anime. thor (chris hemsworth) is a young man who is traveling the world with his hammer (or so i think). as he goes around, the norse god odin (anthony hopkins) tries to send him to learn what he needs to know. meanwhile, loki (tom hiddleston) tries to take over the kingdom, and there’s a little of that, but nothing really too significant. thor ends up in the city of new york, where they make some kind of a deal for odin to send him to earth to become a human. the god of thunder is not happy when he arrives, and he doesn’t want to be involved with a human at all. the funny thing is, he doesn’t seem to understand much of what is going on, but he does look for someone in the city who is a powerful enough to help him.
this is a movie that is really a lot of fun. it is set in new york, and most of the time, i couldn’t understand anything that happened, and i wasn’t sure what was going on. but, i just knew it was fun, and the actors did a good job. the story is actually pretty good, and the action is a lot of fun. and the 3d is really cool! it is really well done, and it makes the action really jump out at you.
thor 2 is a fantastic sequel to the first thor. this film continues the story of the god of thunder who has now grown into a god. he has become capable of doing amazing things that the other asgardians can not. he has battled and defeated many villains that are now at his mercy. he has become a hero to his people, and is loved by them. he has learned the value of family and friends. he has also acquired some new powers, and must now use them to protect the ones he loves. it is not going to be an easy task, but he will certainly do his best to make things right. in the process, he will also make some new enemies that wish to see him dead.
