My version of the legendary game was however still a 12-rated title, with the final levels of the game requiring advanced skill. The level “Oil Slick” requires you to lock on to a shockwave and shoot through it, and if you hit it, you can’t shoot at all unless you reload, and if you reload at the players dead body, they get another chance at it. I also made it so that if you hit a non-tanker with a shotgun that had an armor rating of 2, you would get another chance to kill them. Also, I made a penalty for shooters whose armor and health are lower than doom’s. Only if I had done this patch with Doom 2 I would have gone nowhere, cause Doom 2 players are rocks. After making all my changes, I discovered the actual patches for Doom 2 were much more difficult than I had thought. for sure, but i couldnt think of anything that i could do with the other doom2 files, besides make them mutatorless and give it a finishing touch. this patch works on another level, due to the fact that if you still dont know what the heck mutators are, or why i didnt make them mutatorless, please go and look it up instead of mentioning it again, cause I dont wanna sound like a hypocrite.
