PS2Rate – The main program, it edits the mouse’s NNPS2 settings and occasionally forces the mouse NNPS2 rate to go up.
Nautilus – Saves mouse settings to the GNOME Registry Editor (useful if you don’t want the mouse NNPS2 settings you edited with PS2Rate to disappear when you log out, or something like that. (As of version 5)
MouseSettings – Turns off mouse acceleration (useful with one of these mouse programs), and it can also turn on/off mouse speed overclocking (see manual for details. Not included with PS2Rate, but I recommend you turn it on anyway.)
Other Programs – Turns mouse NNPS2 rate overclocking ON/OFF, and can turn off NNPS2 support in those mouse programs you listed in the Graphics section.
The.tar.gz archive contains all the stuff. Just open it with Archive Manager and unzip it. (If you want to know what’s in the files just look at the zip file, it’s all there for you to read.)
