I’ve got an Android 2.1 phone and installed the EasyTether app as per the instructions. It says that the phone is a USB MSC. When I try to connect the phone it only says “Possible problems with this phone. Try again later”. I followed this tut however it does not work for me. I have downloaded EasyTether. It says “Usb MSC” but the phone isn’t showing up when I click on the icon in the task bar.

I have checked my phone manual and it says “USB MSC (Mass Storage Class)”. So I am not sure what the problem is and why my phone is not showing up in the list of available devices on the app.
I’ve tried following the instructions on this tutorial and my phone (Android 2.2) is not showing up in the list of available devices on the app (you do have to connect the phone to a PC first to get it to appear).
I have the EasyTether app installed on my phone but it says I have no drivers for my phone. I didn’t find any tutorial/guide that tell you how to install the drivers if your phone’s manual doesn’t specify any.
Can someone please help me as I’ve been trying to get this working for the past 2 days without any success.
It should be just a matter of checking the box “Do not ask again” to close the app and then right-click on the ‘Tethering’ icon in the taskbar and select “Start” to connect the device.
Your device is listed in the “System Settings – Security” dialog (you can access it by pressing the “Settings” button in the app tray). Just check the box “Do not ask again”.
