Today we have a bit of an announcement to make!
Today we want to make the following statement to everyone:
MumbleRPG is going to close it’s doors at the end of February of 2015!
On February 28th, both servers will be shut off and on that day, the site can no longer be accessed. This is actually already the end date of January of 2015, as we wanted to make sure you guys get at least one more month to finish all the quests and adventures we have planned.
That is, of course, if you all don’t fund this game in January and January alone. We have no plans to make any further developments unless funded by you guys.
So, without further ado, please stop what you’re doing and enjoy this special day as we end our journey! Thank you all for everything!

It’s been a long time coming, but I think it’s time for me to retire this awesome little YouTube channel. But not just yet! I’ve still got at least one more RPG video left and then I will quit this job for real.
I’ve been making this channel for over 7 years and so I decided that it was finally time to put my own twist on it, but that means no more Perler beads and blank sheets of paper. Today is the day I’ve been looking forward to all week. I will be spending it getting to know some of the people who are to be coming to see us at the Seaside Cafe on Saturday 29th July from noon to 6pm.
For the last four years, I’ve been going to the Seaside Cafe every Thursday lunchtime for their delightful home-made pierogies. Last year, I was intending to join a group of Ukrainian foodies (at the invitation of Jasmin in the kitchen) to celebrate Pirogi’s twentieth birthday, but such was the timing of things, that Peter wangled out of me another booking (also at the Cafe) for the following week.
This year, my friend Bridget who lives in Northumberland decided to come to Glasgow without her family and take me. We had a good chat about such things as strudels and who made them first. I’m hoping her family will arrive in Glasgow on Friday evening and then we can all go out for a meal. Sadly, Jasmin is away until the week starting 26th July, so I’m not expecting to see her this month. We did meet in advance, though, for a ‘Coffee and a cake’ conversation. I don’t know what the outcome of that will be. Anyway, I thought this would make a nice introduction to the Seaside Cafe. I can’t tell you how many wonderful dishes I’ve tried over the years. Today I shall speak only of pierogies. Actually, that’s not entirely true. For years, I thought pierogi dough on a plate was an instant Easter egg. Sadly, I was so wrong. These pierogi doughs are so sticky that, if I was taking them home to my gran or mum as a baby, they would give me a stomach ache.

The goal of this study was to determine the clinical and anatomic features of PION and factors contributing to the overall prognosis of this type of optic neuropathy. The authors identified 23 eyes of 15 patients who met the following criteria: (1) bilateral involvement; (2) anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (AION) as the initial manifestation; (3) symptoms and signs of reduced visual acuity; (4) computed tomographic evidence of hypoperfusion of the optic nerve at the chiasm; and (5) optic disc edema. All patients underwent magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans of the brain and orbits to document the presence of any additional disease. Visual acuity of the affected eye was measured after the onset of symptoms. Ten patients (66.7%) were found to have a contralateral AION at the time of presentation. In all cases, bilateral papilloedema was found at the onset. The mean follow-up duration was 11.7 months. Visual acuity of the affected eye was markedly reduced in all patients, with a mean visual acuity of 0.05 at the end of the follow-up period. Computed tomographic scans revealed a hemispheric infarction involving the optic radiations in every case. The authors’ findings show that PION is a serious optic neuropathy that shares many features in common with AION. A clinically significant visual deficit develops without any progressive anatomic findings on imaging studies. The prognosis of PION is significantly
