In the year of 2055, a new type of tank has been invented, a tank with a golden robot head which can transform into three different parts – Tank, Shotgun and Artillery. People called this kind of tank “Marshmallow”. To protect the city from the attacks of “Marshmallow Tanks”, law enforcement set up an agency named “M2M”, which is known as “Marshmallow SWAT”. As the commander of SWAT team in M2M, your task is to learn all about the abilities of the Tank, Shotgun, Artillery and conduct some simulated missions in order to achieve your goal.

GAMEPLAY
The basic shooting of the game is to keep moving and pointing the target. Players can cycle the shooting by pressing the “D-Pad” and “C-Stick” buttons alternatively. Each weapon can be used to fire two kinds of grenades at once – a single-shot grenade for the Tank, a multi-shot grenade for the Shotgun and the Artillery. Players can also use the option of “Fire Stick” to increase the accuracy and decrease the time of fire.

The design of Tank provides three movement modes: “Walk”, “Sprint” and “Fly”. Each movement mode has an acceleration, deceleration and maximum speed. To control the Tank smoothly, players should use “Moving Arrow” (C-stick or analog stick) to control the acceleration. Players can also use “Bumping Arrow” to change between the walking, sprinting and flying modes.

At the same time, players can change the target’s position by using the right analog stick to control.

For the Shotgun, the design of Gun provides three different shooting modes: “Glock”, “Magnum” and “Ruger”. Each shooting mode has an accuracy and a rate of fire. Players can adjust the accuracy of the Gun using the “Up Arrow” and “Down Arrow” buttons. Players can change the rate of fire by pressing the “Bump Arrow” button. I’m not crazy about the control scheme, but not everyone is comfortable using a gamepad. This might be the perfect compromise, as it allows everyone to play the game with either a mouse or a gamepad, and doesn’t require a lot of physical dexterity.
There are four different ways to solve puzzles:
1. direct hands-on manipulation
2. methods that use motion detectors
3. methods that use telepathy
4. the Aperture Science Menu
Of the four, using telepathy is the easiest. In most cases, you just need to wait a few seconds for the game to determine your position, and enter “talk to the wall” at that point. However, if you have trouble getting the right position, you can control the game in one of two ways: using the “walk backwards” technique, or by using the “Camera Flash” function.
The basic idea with the “Walk Backwards” technique is to wait until you are at the edge of a large area, and then walk backwards through the gel. You don’t actually move, just teleport into the gel directly in front of you. Because you teleport through the gel, you can get a far better sense of where things are, and you can also go through walls.
“Camera Flash” can also be used as a technique to calibrate your position. When you are on the edge of a large area, the game will tell you to “Camera Flash” in a position that you think corresponds to the object that you want to press. If you do this correctly, you’ll see a “flash” occur in the place that you thought, and you’ll see the corresponding object.
Of course, some things are still wonky. You can fall through the gel if you’re too close to the edge. Also, if you are in the middle of a large open area, there is no way to tell the game that you want to teleport to the middle of the area. Sometimes you’ll just have to wait around until you can’t move.
There is one question I cannot answer: why in the world does pressing an orb (“Orb”) do anything?
Aside from weirdness like that, this is a solid, well-conceived revival of Portal. It might not have the depth
