If you are creating a service in Angular what is the correct approach to its creation and its lifetime?
If we use provider and inject services it seems like services are created on each controller injection, and I’m trying to understand when they should be created.
Currently I’m thinking I should create them in the same way that I would do with most other components, that is on the bootstrap function for the application.

What i usually do is just a bit of a hack that i create an object in $rootScope and keep reference to it in my service. I use it just as a convenient way of getting the reference to my service.
