One of my favorite Windows 7 themes. It’s so mesmerizing to watch the space conditions with Earth Wind Free Download. The image of space is overlaid on the classical earth image. The subtle movement of the planet over a black sky is really breathtaking.

The Wallpaper features 10 scenes that are continuously being downloaded and added to the wallpaper. You can use the optional Windows taskbar button to switch from one image to another. You can also take a snapshot of your computer screen, and then use the Desktop Settings applet to share the image with others.

These are the parts and files you’ll need for installing this theme.

– theme – download it from the link above
– wmc.exe – download and install it
– powerstyletar.dll – download this file

It is in bz2 format, unzip it to C:\wind.zip
Unzip the file and you should get the following files:

– visual.xml – wind.theme – install to your Wind appearance dir.
– all files in wind\media\windows\windos

This is a theme that has an optional dll. I am adding it to my themes to improve performance. I know I could do this with a tweak. But this would be quicker to do than twiddling around with a tweak.

Newer version of this theme for those of you that wants to upgrade. You will need this version for using the new features, like the link, and the dll!

Alas there will be more to come, so it will be updated when I have a real good idea.

REQUIRED: *media – Unzip this file to the path specified in the “wind.theme” directory.
This version does not have a new theme. This is the same as the original, no need to install the dll.

C# Generic type and Boxing

I have a function that checks whether an object is a subset of another object and what type it is. It works fine when I pass in a class or struct but when I try to pass in a generic type it causes issues.
I get the following error:

Cannot implicitly convert type ‘System.Collections.Generic.IEnumerable’ to ‘System.Collections.Generic.IEnumerable
