FTBCAT is a lightweight software application designed specifically for helping you control Yaesu FT-450, FT-817/ND, FT-847, FT-857/D, FT-897/D, FT-920 and FT-1000MP Mark V, VR-5000, and FRG-100 receivers.
The program can be run on a computer that has an available COM port for the connection to the radio and supports the operation of multiple rigs at the same time (each rig may have more than one configuration).
User interface
When you run the utility for the first time, it asks you to select the folder where you want to store your CSV files.
The GUI may look a bit overwhelming at a first glance but this is only because the tool embeds a rich set of controls in the main window. For making the layout look a lot cleaner, you can show only the spectrum display.

I spent over an hour figuring out how to solve this issue. It was driving me nuts. I tried everything I could find. Finally I tried the manual and figured it out. When you run the file it will give you a list of the banks already in the memory. Click on the bank that has the number of channels that is different than the frequency file you have. You will be prompted to save the channel numbers in the bank. Change the bank name to match the frequency file and save. (see below). If you already have more banks than the amount in the frequency file just remove the ones you don’t need.

Once you have done that, all your settings are saved in the bank. Then reload the program. You can leave the bank number there.

I have a KRT-2000 and have tried adding my own banks but the process fails every time.
FTBCAT is able to convert my entire KRT-2000 data file with no issues.
Is there a way I can convert banks outside the KRT-2000 file?

My biggest issue with a KRT-2000 is that it only allows 200 entries to be added to a bank. It doesn’t look like FTBCAT allows that many… Am I missing something? I’ve tried manually adding banks
